Sean O'Flynn Bespoke Shirtmaker

About

Sean O’Flynn is a bespoke shirtmaker producing men and women’s shirts of the highest quality. Located on Savile Row in London’s West End, all shirts are made on site personally by Sean and a small team of skilled artisans. He has over four decades of experience in bespoke tailoring and is regarded by many in the trade as the foremost bespoke shirtmaker working in Mayfair today.

Biography

Sean O’Flynn started his career at the age of sixteen as an apprentice at Huntsman & Sons. There he worked under Martin Levit, the then head cutter, who taught him the fundamentals of bespoke shirtmaking with an emphasis on pattern cutting. He later moved to New and Lingwood where, aged twenty-three, he was appointed head cutter; a post he held for the following two decades. In 2005 he opened Sean O’Flynn Bespoke Shirtmaker with his business partner, Matilda Aspinall.

As well as creating shirts for his own clientele, Sean O’Flynn has frequently supplied bespoke shirts to other Mayfair outfitters; themselves unable to find the quality of tailor required to produce such garments. He currently produces bespoke shirts on behalf of Huntsman & Son.
